Edwin John

Edwin John is a seasoned electrical engineer with a strong background in power systems and extensive experience in project management. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at Burns Engineering, Inc. since July 2017, Edwin has transitioned through various roles including Electrical Engineer and Associate Electrical Engineer. Prior to this, Edwin worked at Drexel University from January 2016 to September 2017 as a Research Assistant, contributing to a Navy-funded project on wireless communication for shipboard power systems, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, where instruction included Fourier analysis and Laplace transforms. Additionally, Edwin gained valuable experience as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at Larsen & Toubro, leading testing and commissioning efforts at a major thermal plant in India. Edwin holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems from Drexel University and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Calicut.
