Darcy Wagner

Managing Director, Canada at Burns & McDonnell

Darcy Wagner is the current Managing Director for Canada at Burns & McDonnell. Prior to this, they held various positions at TransAlta from August 2012 to September 2015, where they were most recently the Director of EPMO and Major Projects. In this role, they led and directed TransAlta's portfolio of capital projects, provided oversight and governance of the annual capital budget, and acted as a strategic advisor for major development projects. Darcy was also responsible for establishing company-wide project management practices, as well as the development and mentorship of project management professionals. Darcy has a wealth of experience in the engineering and construction industry, and their experience has been invaluable in their current role at Burns & McDonnell.

Darcy Wagner received their Executive Master of Business Administration from Haskayne School of Business. Darcy also has a Construction Engineering Technology degree from NAIT and is certified in Incident Command System, ICS. Darcy is also a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.

Darcy Wagner reports to Ray Kowalik, Chairman and CEO. They are on a team with Renita Mollman - Chief Administrative Officer, Pat Edwards - VP, Phoenix, and Brett Williams - President, Construction.
