Jarad Howard

Jarad Howard is an accomplished Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in telecommunications and Smart Grid technologies. Currently serving as a Senior Business Development Manager at Burns & McDonnell since 2006, Jarad has also held roles as Lead Telecommunications Engineer and Senior Telecommunications Engineer. Jarad's expertise encompasses NERC/CIP cyber security, local and wide-area networking, and network management systems, alongside a solid background in planning, design, engineering, commissioning, and deployment of information technologies within the electric utility and telecommunications carrier markets. Prior positions include telecommunications engineer at 100 Black Men of Greater Kansas City and various engineering roles at Embarq and Sprint/Nextel. Jarad earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Telecommunications from Kansas State University.
