Alexandra “Alex” R. Woolsey is an Associate in the firm’s Philadelphia office. Ms. Woolsey focuses her practice on the defense of nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and medical professionals in nursing home and medical malpractice claims.

Prior to joining Burns White, Ms. Woolsey was an attorney at a Philadelphia firm, where she represented doctors, nurses, hospital, physician practice groups and other healthcare professionals and institutions in medical malpractice matters. She has also represented clients in matters related to surety, fraud, construction, insurance defense, asbestos and general liability litigation.

Ms. Woolsey obtained her Juris Doctor from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law, magna cum laude, where she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Regulating Patient Safety and Pennsylvania Family Law Practice. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Philosophy from Saint Joseph’s University, magna cum laude.

Ms. Woolsey is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania.
