Craig Schwitter

Craig Schwitter is a Senior Partner and Global Board Chair at Buro Happold, overseeing practice strategy and performance since 2021. With extensive experience in large building and city-scale projects, Craig has also served as the US Board Chair and Managing Principal, engaging actively with clients and collaborating on urban impact initiatives. Currently, Craig is an Advisory Committee Member for the Department of Civil and System Engineering at Johns Hopkins University and Chair of the Board for the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council. Past roles include Industry Advisor for the U.S. Department of State and Associate Professor at Columbia University, where curriculum innovations focused on architectural technology. Craig has contributed to various boards, including the AIA New York and the Van Alen Institute, and holds advanced degrees in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and The Johns Hopkins University.
