Lingkai Cen

Lingkai Cen is a Mechanical Engineer at Buro Happold since January 2024, previously serving as an Automation and BIM Specialist at Arup from November 2022 to December 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Mechanical Engineer and BIM Coordinator at Buro Happold, and a Research Assistant at the University of Southern California, where involvement in a National Science Award-winning research project focused on AI-based environmental control for human health and sustainability took place. Additional experience includes an internship at KATERRA, where energy modeling and daylight studies were conducted, and a research position at The University of Nottingham Ningbo China, investigating passive cooling strategies for net-zero buildings. Lingkai Cen holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University, a Master's degree in Building Science from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Architecture and Built Environment from The University of Nottingham Ningbo China.
