Michelle Rice

Michelle Rice is an accomplished risk management professional with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as Global Risk Manager (Associate Director) at Buro Happold since June 2020. Prior to this role, Michelle held positions at Arcadis, including Global Risk Manager and Risk Management Consultant from July 2016 to March 2020, and Regional Legal Counsel from January 2013 to May 2016. Earlier in the career, Michelle was Senior Regional Legal Advisor and Regional Legal Advisor at Hyder Consulting (UK) Limited. Additionally, involvement with South West Women in Property included serving as a Committee Member focused on website and public relations from March 2010 to March 2012. Michelle’s legal expertise was further developed as a Construction Solicitor at Thrings LLP and as a Trainee Solicitor at Thring Townsend Lee & Pembertons LLP. Educational background includes a Law degree with a focus on European Law and French from Coventry University, complemented by studies at the University of the West of England.
