Sam Holliday

Sam Holliday is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in ecology and biodiversity management. Currently serving as a Partner and Head of Nature and Biodiversity at Buro Happold since April 2015, Sam has held various roles including Head of Ecology and Biodiversity Management and Associate Ecologist. Prior to this, Sam was a Freelance Project Manager/Ecologist from July 2013 to April 2015 and gained significant experience at Cumberland Ecology from December 2005 to July 2013 as a Senior Project Manager/Ecologist. Other notable positions include Marketing Manager at Thring Townsend Limited and Programme Manager at the Earthwatch Institute. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Ecology from Bangor University and a focus on Environmental Management and International Business and Finance from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
