Carol Stilson

Carol Stilson is a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience in mental health services. Currently, Carol works at Burrell Behavioral Health and the Heartland Center for Behavioral Change since May 2020 and September 2018, respectively. Previous roles include Social Worker at Rogers Memorial Hospital, where Carol supported individuals through mental health crises, and Case Manager at Whole Health Clinical Group, focusing on helping individuals with severe mental illness live independently. During earlier internships at Gerald Ignace Indian Health Clinic and Aurora Health Care, Carol developed counseling programs and conducted group therapy using DBT concepts. Additionally, Carol has experience in management and education, having worked as a supervisor at Potawatomi Bingo Casino and as a substitute teacher. Carol holds a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Marquette University and a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
