Jayaprabha Lafontaine

Jayaprabha LaFontaine, MD, MPH, FAPA, currently serves as the Program Chair and Executive Council Member at Greene County Medical Society, while also fulfilling the roles of Psychiatry Residency Program Director and Medical Director for the Southwest Region at Burrell Behavioral Health. As the owner of Sunlight Psychiatry and Wellness LLC since August 2022, Jayaprabha LaFontaine specializes in providing holistic, integrated, evidence-based psychiatric services for children and adolescents. With prior experience as a psychiatrist at Array Behavioral Care and Compass Health Network, along with instructional roles at Washington University in St. Louis, Jayaprabha LaFontaine's extensive background includes positions at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and clinical fellowships. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health from Louisiana State University and a medical degree from the same institution, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of New Orleans.
