Erin Denney-Thompson has a diverse work experience, spanning various industries and roles. Erin began their career at Northwestern University in 2006, serving as the Assistant Director of Faculty Affairs at the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences until 2011. Following this, they joined the National Parks Conservation Association as the Midwest Regional Coordinator from 2011 to 2014. In 2014, Denney-Thompson moved into the corporate sector, taking on the role of Director of Executive and Corporate Communications at Inventus Power. Erin held this position for five years before transitioning to their current role as the Director of Marketing and Communications at Burroughs, Inc., starting in 2019.
Erin Denney-Thompson earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Art History from Arizona State University in 2004. Later on, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Communication at Northwestern University, where they studied from 2009 to 2011.
