Frank McArdle

Frank is currently Chief Executive at South Derbyshire District Council. He was the former Head of Legal & Democratic Services for South Derbyshire District Council before becoming Chief Executive in 2000. He is a Director of the South Derbyshire Local Strategic Partnership, Member of the Board of the East Midland Freeport and Chair of the Council’s Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Group. He has varied Interests including being a member of the Football Association and a former Director and now Ambassador for St Georges Park. He is Director of the Derbyshire County Football Association and a Board Member of the Derbyshire Japan Society. He is also Patron of the Sikh Heritage and Holocaust Museum. Frank is a Lancastrian but has lived in Derbyshire for over forty years. In addition to his football interests, Frank is a keen scuba diver and enjoys playing squash.
