Brian Bowden

Brian Bowden currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director at IPPN, where responsibilities also include chairing the Governance & Risk Committee. Previously, Brian held the position of Chief People Officer at Aer Lingus from January 2016 to September 2023, overseeing all people-related issues, as well as roles focused on HR transformation and performance management. Brian is also involved as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Bus Éireann and Oaklee, and operates as an HR Executive Advisor since September 2023. Educational qualifications include ongoing completion of the Chartered Director Programme at the Institute of Directors and a distinction in Corporate Governance from The Corporate Governance Institute, alongside accreditation in mediation from CEDR.
