Robert Zakaib

Robert Zakaib is the VP of Corporate Development at Busbud. Prior to this, they were the Director of M&A for the Club, Hospitality and Travel division of Jonas Software, an operating group of Constellation Software Inc. (CSU.TO). Zakaib has also worked as a business analyst for Nano One Materials Corp., a cleantech start-up focused on disrupting the lithium-ion battery materials space, and as an articling student at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, where they concentrated in corporate/commercial, securities, financial services and competition law matters. Robert has also served as a board member for MD Homecall and as the co-founder and president of B.L. Productions. Zakaib began their career as a territory manager for Frank's Energy Drink (subsidiary of Magna International Inc.).

Robert Zakaib has a JD/MBA from Queen's University and a BA in Economics and Financial Management from Wilfrid Laurier University. Robert is certified by The Law Society of Upper Canada as a Barrister and Solicitor.
