Nicole Cieslik

Nicole Cieslik has an extensive background in learning and development. Nicole currently works as the Head of Learning and Knowledge Management at Busch Vacuum Solutions, a position they have held since 2023. Previously, they held the role of Head of Languages at Akelius Languages Online gGmbH, where they led a team and collaborated with UNICEF to develop a digital language course for children in need. Prior to that, they served as the Project Lead for the Akelius language course at Akelius Residential Property AB, where they led a team to develop a language learning application for refugee and migrant children. Nicole also held the role of Team Lead Digital Development at the Akelius Business School, where they supported project teams by developing digital learning resources.

Before their work at Akelius, Nicole worked as a Learning and Development Advisor at McInnes Wilson Lawyers, where they were responsible for professional development initiatives and apprenticeship and internship programs. Nicole also worked as a Learning Solutions Specialist at eLeDia and as an LMS Administrator/Training Advisor at Akelius Residential.

Nicole began their career as a Learning Systems Manager/Instructional Designer at Boyle Consulting and later worked as a Systems and Process Administrator/HR Business Partner Data Management at Sandvik Mining and Construction. Nicole also has experience in educational settings, having worked as a Data and Systems Administrator at Faith Lutheran College, Redlands, and as a Teacher Aid/Learning Resources Manager at Birkdale South State School.

Nicole Cieslik completed their high school education at Otto Pankok Schule - Gymnasium der Stadt Muelheim in 1989. Nicole then attended Ruhr University Bochum from 1989 to 1995, where they obtained a Diplom Geograph degree in Geography. Additionally, Nicole has obtained several certifications, including "Agiles Projektmanagement" and "Projektmanagement: Änderungsmanagement" from LinkedIn in 2020, and certifications in Education Support, Training and Assessment, Totara Administration, and eLearning.
