Erik Wenberg

Erik Wenberg is a Financial Planning Specialist at Busey since April 2024, providing clients with comprehensive financial planning to achieve their financial goals. Previously, Erik held various leadership positions at Ameren from 2007 to December 2022, including Director of the Services Center, where operational infrastructure was managed for centralized support across business functions, and Director of Accounting Research, overseeing financial reporting for wholesale commodity operations. Additional roles at Ameren involved managing accounting for power and fuel, technical accounting research, and supervising internal audits. Prior experience includes senior auditor positions at Deloitte and McGladrey & Pullen, as well as working as a commodities trader at Archer Daniels Midland Company. Erik holds both a BS and MS in Finance and Accounting from Illinois State University.
