David Gaylord has a wealth of work experience. From 2010 to 2016 they worked at Gaylord Hardwood Flooring, where they served as Director of Marketing Communications and Sales and Marketing Manager. In 2013 they took on the role of President and Treasurer of the Student Government Association at FDU. In 2015 they joined Shopify, where they held the roles of Merchant in Residence, Operations Lead for the Office of the COO, Executive Expansion, Talent Acquisition, Support Lead, and Customer Success. In 2016 they co-founded Bushbalm, a natural skincare brand, where they are currently the Chief Executive Officer. In this role, they are responsible for growing the marketing side of the business, expanding the customer base, and raising funding.
David Gaylord obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Marketing with a concentration in Digital Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University between 2011 and 2015. Additionally, they obtained a Certified National Hardwood Flooring Installer from the National Hardwood Flooring Association in November 2009.
