Lucia Rollow is an accomplished founder and director of the Bushwick Community Darkroom, where operations have included managing a gang black and white darkroom and a gang color darkroom since October 2010. As a core organizer, Lucia has coordinated Bushwick Open Studios, maintained a comprehensive database of artists, and facilitated collaborations with curators and public events. Previous roles include photographer and archivist at Bijou Drive, field representative for the Working Families Party, communications intern at UNDP, and editorial photo assistant at OK! Magazine. Academic qualifications include a Master of Professional Studies in Arts & Cultural Management from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the School of Visual Arts.

The Bushwick Community Darkroom is dedicated to fostering the exploration of black & white photography. We are building a community resource for folks who are interested in black & white photography and would like to practice or learn more. We offer darkroom rental space, basic photo classes, gallery & studio space, and drop off/mail in film development services.
