Kristel Manes

Kristel Manes is a seasoned executive in the field of economic development, currently serving as the Executive Director of Business Centre Guelph Wellington since April 2018. Manes previously held the position of Contract Mentor at Sheridan College - Hazel McCallion Campus from February 2021 to May 2023. As Project Lead for The Rhyze Project at Innovation Guelph from January 2012 to March 2018, Manes focused on advancing female entrepreneurship through federally funded initiatives. Earlier experience includes serving as Director at the Innovation Centre for the Guelph Wellington Business Enterprise Centre, where Manes offered guidance for small business startups and expansions, and owning a hardware store and a coffee and pizza establishment. Recently, Manes completed an Executive Program in Women in Leadership at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management in September 2023.
