Ela Borenstein

Ela Borenstein possesses extensive experience in the life sciences and venture capital sectors, currently serving as Vice President of Government Funds and Investor Education and Vice President of Venture Capital Incentivized Programs at BDC since April 2007. Previously held roles include COO at Kiadis Pharma and VP of Regulatory Affairs/Product Strategy at Celmed, among various executive positions in regulatory and clinical affairs at Theratechnologies and Technilab Pharma. Ela Borenstein is also a member of Class 17 of Kauffman Fellows since July 2012. Academic qualifications include an MBA in BioIndustries from UQAM, an MSc in Pharmacology from the University of Toronto, and a BSc in Chemistry from Western University.
