Kirk Irving

Kirk Irving has extensive experience in portfolio management and business development, currently serving as Regional Director of Portfolio Management and previously as Business Centre Manager at the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) since May 2015. Prior to BDC, Kirk held several roles at the Business Development Bank of Canada from 2009 to April 2015, including Manager of the Entrepreneurship Centre and Senior Account Manager. Kirk's experience also includes a tenure at GE Capital as Program Manager for the Vendor Finance Group for a brief period in 2008, following a significant role at CitiCapital Commercial Corporation from 2002 to 2008, where Kirk advanced from District Sales Manager to Assistant Vice-President. Kirk holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Bishop's University, obtained between 1990 and 1994.
