Hanna Viitala

Hanna Viitala currently serves as the Head of Strategy at Business Finland since April 2020 and has held the position of Senior Advisor in Strategy and Strategic Performance Management. Prior to this role, Hanna Viitala worked at Finnfund from November 2010 to April 2020, progressing from Programme Analyst to Grants Manager, focusing on business opportunities between Finland and developing countries. Hanna Viitala's earlier career includes a managerial role at Vectia Foresight, where strategic consultancy was the primary focus, and experience in the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, both during the EU presidency and as a Junior Adviser at the UN. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Economics from Hanken School of Economics and a certification as a Credit Analyst from Aalto University.
