Jaclyn L. has a substantial work history spanning multiple companies and roles. Jaclyn began their career at Bentley Barton / Youngman Waterhouse Chartered Accountants in 1990, where they worked as a Graduate Accountant and eventually became a Manager before leaving in 1997. Following this, they worked at Westpac Group Audit as a Senior Auditor and Audit Manager from 1997 to 1999. Jaclyn then transitioned to Westpac Institutional Bank, where they held various positions including Business Project Manager, Senior Associate in Corporate Finance, and Associate Director of Structured Investments from 1999 to 2005. In 2006, they joined ANZ Investment Bank as a Director in the Syndicate Desk and later as an Associate Director in Investor Sales. Jaclyn then moved to Westpac Institutional Bank / BT Financial Group in 2011 as an Associate Director and Regional Manager in Equities before taking on a role at Plus Advisory (Brisbane) Pty Ltd as a Client Manager in 2009. Most recently, in 2021, Jaclyn joined Business Fitness as an Accounting Content QA.

Jaclyn L. has a Bachelor of Business - Accountancy from QUT (Queensland University of Technology), which they earned between 1987 and 1990. Jaclyn also completed a Professional Year at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand from 1990 to 1994. From 1997 to 2000, Jaclyn attended the Financial Services Institute of Australia and obtained a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment. In 2003 and 2004, they attended the Australian Financial Markets Association and completed the Financial Services Core and Government Bonds, Securities & Debt Derivatives Program. Finally, they attended ASIC, where they pursued a PS146 Compliance degree, focusing on Generic Knowledge, Securities, Derivatives, and Managed Investments, until 2005.
