Camilla Steen

Camilla Steen is an experienced Business Development Manager at Business Lolland-Falster since August 2019, with a background in sustainability as co-founder of StrawTernative, where operations involved collaborating with eight cafés and restaurants in Breda, Netherlands, to reduce single-use plastic waste. Prior to these roles, Camilla gained valuable skills as a waitress at Adriano Vin og Kaffebar, navigating a busy environment, and completed a five-month internship with sustainable tour operator Kapwa Travel in Cebu City, Philippines. Additionally, Camilla has served as a Customer Service Specialist at SILVAN in Denmark and holds a Bachelor's degree in International Tourism Management from Breda University of Applied Sciences, supplemented by an exchange program at Hanyang University. Early education includes obtaining high school diplomas from Nykøbing Falster Katedralskole and Peterborough High School.
