Liz Burdock

Liz Burdock has a diverse work experience. Liz is currently the President & CEO at Business Network for Offshore Wind, a 501 (c) 3 organization dedicated to establishing a U.S. offshore wind supply chain. Liz is also a Co-Founder and Executive Director at the same organization. Previously, they were the Founder and Principal of Greenworks Partners, a green strategic consulting practice, for six years. Liz was also a Principal at Dow Lohnes Green Solutions, where they co-managed the specialized practice within DLGS and developed a Phase I Feasibility Plan for Utilizing Urban Wood Waste. Before that, they co-managed Dutko's Sustainability Practice as a Vice President, tracking legislative developments on climate change and advocating for clean energy technologies. Additionally, they served as the Executive Director of the Chesapeake Crescent Initiative, directed staff efforts, and wrote the Year Two Strategic and Operating Plan. Liz Burdock has also held positions at the Partnership for Advancing Technology in Housing, where they served as the Executive Director of the PATH program and coordinated federal agencies and the housing industry to promote energy-efficient technologies in homebuilding. Liz also worked as a Special Assistant in the Office of Operations at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Furthermore, they started their career as a Research Assistant at Enterprise Community Partners.

Liz Burdock completed a Master's of Community Planning from the University of Maryland between 1993 and 1995. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Frostburg State University, which they attended from 1986 to 1990.
