The Business of Fashion was founded in 2007 by Imran Amed, who is also the current CEO. Prior to BoF, Amed worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company and as an Engagement Manager. He also has experience in the fashion industry, having worked as an Associate Lecturer at Central Saint Martins and as a Private PA to Kelly Hoppen CBE. In addition to Amed, the current leadership team includes President Katie Grand, Managing Director Caroline Rush, and Head of Creative Services Matthew Williams. The team has a wealth of experience in both the fashion industry and other industries, including finance, music, art, marketing, and advertising.
