Patrick Herteen

Patrick Herteen has a diverse work experience in graphic design and marketing. Patrick started their career as a Prepress Specialist/Graphic Designer at The Printer, Inc., where they worked from July 1995 to August 1999. Patrick then joined Iowa State University as an Engineering Communications and Marketing Graphic Designer II from August 1999 to August 2010.

In May 2011, Patrick joined Bankers Trust as a Marketing Design Specialist, Officer. During their time there, they managed a production team responsible for designing print and electronic materials for the bank. Patrick played a key role in a corporate-wide rebrand initiative, reinvented the corporate website, and developed multichannel marketing strategies. Patrick also served as a marketing representative on several committees. Patrick worked at Bankers Trust until December 2019.

Patrick then worked as the owner of PhDesigns from January 2004 until the present day. Currently, they are employed as a Graphic Designer at Business Publications Corporation, Inc., focusing on the layout and design of the company's weekly business journal. Patrick collaborates with the sales team to create advertisements and ensures accurate ad placement.

Patrick Herteen earned their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Design from Iowa State University between 1988 and 1993.
