Michal Piechocki currently serves as Chairman of BR-AG and has extensive experience in various technical and financial organizations. Since 2018, Michal has represented Poland on the Technical Committee 68 at the International Organization for Standardization, focusing on ISO 20022 and fintech initiatives. Additional roles include membership on the Supervisory Board of AppUnite and the Board of Directors for the Eurofiling Foundation. With membership in the Banking and Banking Financial Services Technical Committee of the Polish Committee for Standardization since 2016, Michal has also held leadership positions in XBRL International and the International Accounting Standards Board. Michal holds a Master's degree in Capital Investments and Corporate Financial Strategies from Poznan University of Economics and Business and is currently a PhD candidate in Economics with a focus on Information Technology at TU Bergakademie Freiberg.
