The Business Technology Forum is a not-for-profit, professional organisation operating according to the platform economy model. It maintains, develops, and provides an open-source framework called the Business Technology Standard. It is free to use and consists of best practices, models, and tools to plan, build and run information technology.

The BT Forum also organises events and conferences, publishes educational materials, and offers training courses to advance the business technology management profession and a fair digital economy for all.
