Spencer Ruths

Spencer Ruths is an experienced professional with a background in insurance and talent acquisition. Currently serving as an Insurance Agent at Heartland Retirement Group since June 2023, Spencer previously held roles at F&G as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator and Talent Acquisition Sourcer from June 2021 to May 2023. Prior experience includes working as an Assistant Manager in Human Resources at Hy-Vee, Inc. between February 2019 and June 2021. Spencer's early career also includes seasonal positions as a Landscaper at Allen Lawncare and a Swim Instructor at Mindy Swim. Spencer holds a degree in Enterprise Leadership with a focus on Human Resources Management from the University of Iowa and is a graduate of Southeast Polk High School.
