Tammy Shutters has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Tammy started their career in 1998 as a Senior Director and Graphic Designer at KMIZ-TV, where they coordinated and directed visual aspects for newscasts. Tammy then worked at WHO-TV as a Technical Director & Audio Operator, staging video and audio effects for live newscasts and taped productions. After that, Tammy joined Iowa Network Services as a Marketing Coordinator, where they designed and implemented corporate marketing plans and managed public relations events and conferences. Tammy also served as a Customer Care Supervisor, overseeing the provisioning and management of telecommunications services.

In 2008, Tammy started their own consulting business, Monarch Consulting, and worked as the Owner until 2011. Tammy then joined the Iowa Motion Picture Association as a Program Director, where they increased membership and launched a new website and social media presence.

Tammy's next role was at the Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau as a Marketing Coordinator, where they coordinated the CVB partnership program and led the marketing department for a customer relationship management system.

In 2011, Tammy joined the Agribusiness Association of Iowa as a Communications Director, translating complex issues into easy-to-understand communications and implementing successful initiatives for the annual tradeshow and conference.

Finally, Tammy is currently working at Businessolver. Tammy started as a Client Relationship Specialist and then progressed to be a Client Relationship Manager. Tammy then took on the role of a Client Operations Lead, where they focused on driving continual improvement of service delivery and managing account support for various workflow processes. Currently, they are a Learning Program Manager, with responsibilities that are yet to be described.

Tammy Shutters attended the University of Missouri-Columbia from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.
