Jason Taylor

Jason Taylor is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at BusPatrol, contributing expertise since March 2023. Previously, Jason served as Tech Lead and Senior Computer Vision Researcher at Jumio Corporation, driving R&D for liveness services and mentoring engineers. Experience at Algolux involved researching computer vision technologies for self-driving cars, while at envision.ai, Jason led deep learning development for computer vision and NLP technologies. Earlier roles include Image Processing Specialist at The Institute for Diagnostic Imaging Research, and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Manitoba, where Jason focused on ultrasonic imaging. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Manitoba, along with incomplete PhD studies in Machine Learning from McGill University.
