Matthew Breit

Matthew Breit is a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in embedded systems and engineering management. Currently serving as a Sr. Embedded Systems Developer at BusPatrol since February 2023, Matthew focuses on firmware and software development for ARM-based IoT devices aimed at enhancing vehicle safety and telemetry. Prior experience at Basler AG spanned nearly 18 years, where Matthew held multiple roles including Applications Engineering Manager - Americas, Sr. Consulting Engineer & Market Analyst, and Sr. Engineer & Customization Specialist. In these capacities, Matthew developed engineering capabilities, provided software development consulting in C++, C#, and Python, and supported key accounts. Earlier experience at CTDI included roles as a Test & Repair Technician for telecom equipment. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Physics from Penn State University and West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
