Joana Duarte

Joana Duarte has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Joana is currently the Head of People & Culture at BusUp, a position they assumed in November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Boxmotions as the Head of People & Talent from June 2018 to October 2021. Before Boxmotions, Joana was an HR Business Partner Spain & LATAM at Vanderlande, where they focused on improving customers' logistics processes and performance from March 2015 to January 2018. Additionally, they worked as an International Recruitment Consultant at Talent Search People from March 2014 to February 2015. Joana's earliest work experience includes a volunteer role at APAV in 2013.

Joana Duarte has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, which they obtained from 2008 to 2012. Joana then pursued a Master's degree in Human Resources Management at UPF Barcelona School of Management from 2014 to 2016. Continuing their education, from 2017 to 2019, they completed a Master's degree in Sports and PA Psychology at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
