Derrik Shakespear

Derrik Shakespear is currently the Chief Revenue Officer at busybusy. Prior to this, they were the VP of Sales at Legend Solar from January 2014 to December 2016. Derrik was responsible for growing the company from one local market with two sales reps to fifty cities in five different states with over eighty sales reps. The INC. 500 had Legend Solar ranked as the 27th fastest and the 29th fastest growing company in America for the 2015 and 2016 sales years. They also had them ranked as the second fastest energy growing company in America those same years.

Before their time at Legend Solar, Derrik was Area Sales Manager at Pinnacle Security from January 2011 to December 2014. Derrik recruited and managed sales offices in different regions nationally and generated over $2.4 million in personal sales revenue for the company. Derrik was rewarded for lowest attrition/cancellation in the company each year and was the only rep to have over 200 accounts installed while having a cancellation rate of less than 3% three years in a row.

Derrik has always had a passion for sales and for helping others. Derrik joined the software movement because they believe that technology is the best way to impact a better future.
