Brian K. Slawin

Brian K. Slawin is the Director and CO-Founder of BusyEvent. Brian has also served as the Sector Leader & Mentor for IT and Innovation Track at Center for Emerging Technologies from January 2015 to December 2015. In this role, they provided access to resources and encouragement to help participants make the decision to either 'keep their day job' or to 'take the leap' into the world of starting up their own company.

Slawin has been a serial technology entrepreneur, and uses their experience to help burgeoning entrepreneurs identify opportunities, plan for pitfalls, and fill in gaps in their plans. Brian is passionate about assisting and supporting people, and believes that Square 1 allows him to combine their interests with their experiences to create a supportive and encouraging environment.

Brian K. Slawin earned a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Sciences / Professional Pilot from Parks College of Saint Louis University. Brian then went on to earn a degree in Performance & Sports Psychology from Penn State University.
