Niki Taormina

Niki Taormina has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In their most recent role at ButcherBox since August 2022, they served as the Deputy Chief of Staff, overseeing research, planning, and implementation for process improvement and change management initiatives. Niki also facilitated effective communication and development among cross-functional teams and organized events to engage internal teams and external partners.

Before that, Niki founded NT Projects + Events in March 2020, where they provided comprehensive event planning and management services, collaborating with clients to bring their projects and events to life.

Prior to that, they served as the Chief of Staff at Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts from August 2020 to July 2022, playing a critical role in driving strategic initiatives and advising cross-functional departments. Niki also managed internal communications and administrative operations.

From 2017 to 2020, Niki worked as a Special Project and Events Manager at Island Creek Oyster Bar and Row 34, where they led the planning and execution of high-visibility appearances and managed social media outreach and publicity.

In earlier roles, Niki gained experience in account project management at Egg Design Partners and MD + CO, leading design programs, managing client relationships, and ensuring timely deliverables.

Niki also worked as a Senior Account Manager and Regional Field Trainer at OraPharma, where they directed B2B sales and provided training for dental industry products and services.

Niki began their career in the hospitality industry, holding positions such as Group Sales Manager at Hyatt Harborside Hotel and Conference Planning Manager at Omni Park West Hotel.

Niki Taormina completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Mount Ida College between 1998 and 2002. In August 2022, they obtained two additional certifications: "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences" and "Unconscious Bias," both from LinkedIn.
