Lloyd Carnegie

Lloyd Carnegie is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector with extensive experience in commercial management and financial advisory roles. Currently serving as Senior Commercial Manager at Bute Energy since May 2020, Lloyd Carnegie focuses on the appraisal of early-stage wind, solar, and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, land negotiations, securing grid connections, and capital raising. Prior to this, Lloyd Carnegie worked in mergers and acquisitions at EDF Renewables UK & Ireland, specializing in wind, solar, and BESS acquisitions. Earlier experience includes a role as Transaction Tax Advisor and Audit Senior at EY, where Lloyd Carnegie contributed to corporate due diligence and managed a diverse portfolio of clients. Lloyd Carnegie holds a Master of Arts in Accounting and Finance from the University of Aberdeen and is a member of ICAS, The Professional Body of CAs.
