Aletra Chaney-Profit

Aletra Chaney-Profit currently serves as the Director of Career Services at Butler Community College, a position held since January 2019, where the focus is on providing career guidance and support for students in employment and internship opportunities. Prior to this role, Aletra was the Director of Strategic Communications at the Workforce Centers of South Central Kansas from December 2008 to January 2019, where responsibilities included enhancing communication within the workforce development system and reporting on local employment trends. Additional experience includes various leadership roles at WIS-TV News 10 from February 2000 to June 2008, including Producer and News Editor. Aletra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts from Benedict College and a Mini MPA in Public Administration from Wichita State University Hugo Wall School of Public Affairs.
