Diane Block

Diane Block, PhD, MS, CPHQ has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Diane began their career as a Senior Occupational Therapist at Rhode Island Hospital in 1993. In 1995, they joined Butler Hospital as a Master's Level II Clinician in Behavioral Health Services. Diane then progressed to become the Director of Patient Experience and later the Director of Quality and Patient Experience at Butler Hospital. Their tenure at Butler Hospital lasted until September 2017, indicating that they held these roles for several years. Diane's contributions in quality management and patient experience suggest their expertise in improving healthcare services.

Diane Block, PhD, MS, CPHQ has a diverse education history. Diane earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology with a focus on Immunology from Syracuse University in 1985. Diane furthered their education by obtaining a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy/Therapist from Springfield College between 1991 and 1993. In 2006, Diane pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Health Policy from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, completing their studies in 2013. In January 2021, they obtained the certification of Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) from the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ).
