Munirat Adebimpe

Munirat Adebimpe, APRN has extensive experience in the healthcare field. Munirat is currently the Independent Owner of Remembering You: Psychiatric and Therapeutic Services, LLC, where they focus on creating a healing treatment atmosphere for underrepresented and multi-ethnic individuals. Prior to this, they worked as the Lead Nurse Practitioner at Butler Hospital starting in 2018. From 2017 to 2021, Munirat served as an Advanced Practice Nurse at United Services, Inc., where they assessed, diagnosed, and provided medication management for patients with psychiatric and mental health conditions. Munirat also gained experience as a Staff Nurse at Saint Anne's Hospital and as a Registered Nurse-Supervisor at Berkshire Manor, Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility. Munirat's earlier experience includes being a Nurse Practitioner Student with a psychiatry specialty at MGH Institute of Health Professions and a Residential Behavioral Specialist at Groden Center Inc. Munirat has also held positions as a Resident Director at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Assistant Director of Newcomb Student Programs at Tulane University. Munirat began their career as a Case Manager for the Mobile Treatment Team at Newport County Community Mental Health Center, where they provided counseling services, crisis intervention, advocacy, and community support for individuals with severe mental and behavioral disabilities.

Munirat Adebimpe, APRN has a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse/Nursing, which was obtained from MGH Institute of Health Professions during the years 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, Munirat earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in College Student Counseling and Personnel Services from the University of Rhode Island from 2008 to 2010. Munirat's undergraduate degree is in Human Development and Family Studies (General), obtained from the University of Rhode Island during the years 2002 to 2005. Additionally, Munirat holds certification as a Board Certified Registered Nurse in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island, as granted by the Board of Nursing.
