In this role, Nathan supports directives on the daily operations at BMT. This includes organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing their management staff to meet and exceed the BMT goal of delivering highest level of quality, dignified service. Nathan has over 17 years of EMS experience, beginning in upstate New York where he worked as a Clinical Paramedic in both ground and rotor wing programs and then as the Director of Operations for Berkshire Emergency Squad Inc. in Toga County. Nathan is currently a faculty member of the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians as well as the American Heart Association. He is also an associate member of the National Collegiate Emergency Medical Services Foundation and is an alumni member of Harper's Ferry Student Volunteer Ambulance of Binghamton University.
Prior to joining BMT, Nathan worked in Critical Care and Emergency Medicine at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He was a founding member of the Johns Hopkins LIFELINE Special Operation Response Team, where he aided in the creation and deployment of a transportation team model for high-consequence infectious disease patients.
