Nadine Bourell-Montoya has over 40 years of experience in education, beginning as a Head Chef at Crab Cottage Restaurant and progressing to a full-time teacher. From 1981 to 2000, Nadine taught in various school districts, including a role at Red Wind School for the Red Wind Intertribal Council. Nadine served as a teacher at the Butte County Office of Education from July 2000 until retirement, and currently works as a part-time substitute teacher for grades K-12. Educational qualifications include a Clear Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential from Sonoma State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from California State University, Chico. Additionally, Nadine has experience as a Migrant Education Para Pro and a seasonal firefighter with the U.S. Forest Service.
