CTE Digital Photography Teacher at Butte County Office of Education

Tonya Paul has a diverse background in photography and education, currently serving as a CTE Digital Photography Teacher at the Butte County Office of Education since August 2006, where responsibilities include instructing 11th and 12th graders in digital photography and portfolio development for the workforce. Prior to this role, Tonya Paul was a teacher and photojournalist for the Oroville Mercury Register from October 1991 to April 2006, where the focus was on capturing images for news stories. Earlier career experience includes working as a portrait photographer at Photomagic from April 1986 to October 1991, managing a portrait studio while gaining insights from extensive travel across the United States and internationally. Tonya Paul’s educational background includes studies at Butte College from 1987 to 1989 and graduation from Las Plumas High School in 1987.
