Farhana Haque's work experience begins in 2011 as a Contributor with Getty Images. They then worked as an Art Commission at York University in 2014. Starting in 2015, Farhana Haque transitioned to become a Practicing Artist, participating in various solo and group art exhibitions until 2018. In 2021, they joined MatchCampus as a UX Designer, where they developed a finance tracking app prototype and created a cohesive brand identity. Currently, in 2022, Farhana Haque is employed as a UI/UX Designer at Butterfield & Robinson Luxury Travel. In this role, they have built a strong UX framework, enhanced the user experience of the trip booking tool, and are creating a new website design with a user-centric approach.
Farhana Haque completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Visual Art at York University from 2012 to 2015. In 2019 and 2020, they attended the Parsons School of Design - The New School for Continuing and Professional Education. Additionally, in June 2023, they obtained several certifications, including "AI-Powered UX Design: How to Elevate Your UX Career," "How To Design Experiences for AI," "How To Influence Behavior Through Virtual Reality Narratives," "How to Design with and for Artificial Intelligence," "Introduction to Digital Accessibility," and "Human-Computer Interaction: The Foundations of UX Design." Farhana also completed the "Introduction to Generative AI" certification from Google Cloud Skills Boost in June 2023.
