Alexander Schoenfelder

Alexander Schoenfelder is a skilled Data Scientist with extensive experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and strategic consulting. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant and Data Scientist at Butterfly Data since March 2023, and as a UoE Associate at the University of Exeter since October 2022, Alexander actively contributes to the Activity Informatics programme and has conducted peer-reviewed research. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Fellow at the University of Exeter, focusing on step detection algorithms, and a Senior Account Manager position at Proctor + Stevenson, where Alexander delivered data-driven strategies across various industries. Alexander also held previous account management roles, enhancing clients’ marketing strategies through data analysis and project delivery, and gained valuable digital marketing experience at Henkel, managing app-based services for a global audience. Alexander holds a Master of Science in Applied Data Science and Statistics from the University of Exeter and a Bachelor of Science in Business Psychology from Leuphana University of Lüneburg.
