Desiree Villec

Desiree Villec is an experienced Senior Behavior Consultant at Butterfly Effects since April 2021, with a robust background in Applied Behavior Analysis. Prior experience includes serving as Lead Analyst and BCBA at Behavior and Therapeutic Services of Hawaii from January 2015 to December 2022, where supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians occurred while providing ABA services to children with challenging behaviors. Desiree also worked as a BCBA at BAYADA Home Health Care and Trumpet Behavioral Health, focusing on developing intervention programs for students with behavior challenges. Earlier roles include Behavioral Health Specialist and Special Education Teacher at the Hawaii State Department of Education, where comprehensive support and tailored instruction were emphasized. Desiree holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Bond University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education and Teaching from The College of New Jersey.
