Taiba Zahir

Taiba Zahir is a dedicated public health professional with extensive experience in epidemiology and health coordination. Currently serving as a Global Health Coordinator at Butterfly Network, Inc. since February 2022, Zahir also contributes to the Maine CDC as a member of the Health Equity Advisory Council. Previous roles include an Epidemiologist at DC Health with the CDC Foundation, where Zahir conducted case investigations on COVID-19 and analyzed vaccination data, and a COVID-19 Partner Coordination Consultant at the World Health Organization, leading partner coordination efforts in the Western Pacific Region. With a Master of Public Health degree focused on Global Health Epidemiology from The George Washington University, Zahir's diverse background includes significant contributions to public health data projects and research, enhancing health responses and outcomes.
