Thomas Terenzi

Thomas Terenzi has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Thomas is currently working as the Head of FP&A at ButterflyMX® since October 2020. Previously, they worked at PTC for 5 years, where they held multiple roles. From April 2018 to October 2020, they served as the Director of Finance, partnering with Division GM and leadership team to drive double-digit bookings growth and expand operating margin. Prior to that, from March 2016 to April 2018, they held the position of Director of FP&A, leading a $1B companywide operating plan and monthly forecasting process.

Before joining PTC, Thomas worked at Fresenius Medical Care as a Principal Financial Analyst from February 2014 to February 2015, where they played a crucial role in driving and liaising budgeting and forecasting initiatives. Prior to that, they served as a Finance Manager (Technology Group) at NBCUniversal Media, LLC from April 2011 to February 2014, actively contributing to financial modeling and processes improvement.

Thomas started their career at MTV Networks as a Financial Analyst from October 2008 to April 2011, where they successfully reduced monthly legal fee volatility through improved communication channels. Thomas also worked at The Hartford as a Financial Analyst from April 2006 to August 2008, where they analyzed departmental performance metrics and investigated questionable payouts.

Thomas Terenzi received their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Bentley University between 2002 and 2006. Thomas then pursued higher education and obtained a Master of Business Administration degree, specializing in Financial Management, from the Lubin School of Business at Pace University. This degree was earned between 2009 and 2011.
