Kim D. has worked in the technology industry since 2015. 😊 Kim began as a Private Tutor for Blue Tutors, and then joined Code First Girls in 2018 to take part in their Advanced Ruby Web Development Course. In 2019, Kim joined M&G plc as an Associate Software Engineer, Girls in Tech London as a Board Member and Volunteer & Mentor, and Makers as a Software Engineer - Fellowship Programme. In 2020, they started working at Trainline as a Software Engineer, and then joined Tech Returners - Empowering skilled individuals to return to mid-senior level technology careers as a Software Engineer & Tech Coach. Kim is currently working as a Software Engineer for Butternut Box, starting in 2022.

Kim D. obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Geography from the University of Oxford in 2014, followed by a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Environmental Modelling from UCL in 2015. In 2017, Kim D. obtained an IEMA Associate Certificate in Environmental Management from IEMA. In 2019, Kim D. obtained a Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft. In 2020, Kim D. obtained the CSP104 Secure Software Coding and SEC101 - OWASP Top 10 from Security Compass.
